Dusit Thani Manila was officially launched on March 31 at the Grand Ballroom of the newly renovated property (previously known as Dusit Nikko Hotel). Mr. Octavio Gamarra, Senior Vice President Dusit International; Mr. Gerhard Kropp, President of Philippine Hoteliers Inc., owning company of Dusit Thani Manila and Regional Vice President of Dusit International; Mr. Frank Grassmann, Hotel Manager of Dusit Thani Manila welcomed the 500 VIP Guests composed of Corporate Clients, Travel Trade Industry, Press / Media, frequent and loyal guests of the hotel to a gastronomic cocktail reception highlighting the best of a Dusit Thani dining experience with live cooking presentations from the hotel's 5 restaurants. The countdown began and the moment of unveiling arrived when the covers were lifted off the hotel's new building signage, beamed live into the ballroom to the clinking of champagne glasses.
